How do you deal with a situation where your original image ratio is not ideal for all 3 usages. Eg. you are uploading a logo that should not have bits cropped off it and hence need to have the system alter the 'canvas' and add some transparency either vertically or horizontally. Would you need to use something like https://drupal.org/project/image_effects or is there another route?
